Size & Care Guide
Fit & care
Find your size in two minutes.
Barefoot shoes fit differently from conventional shoes — on purpose. You're looking for room, not snugness.
The rule of thumb (literally): about a thumb's width — roughly 12mm — of space in front of your longest toe, and no pressure across the widest part of your foot.
How to measure
Stand on a sheet of paper
In socks, weight evenly on both feet — feet spread slightly under load, so measuring seated understates your size.
Mark toe and heel
Mark the tip of your longest toe and the back of your heel. Do both feet — most people have one longer foot.
Measure and add toe room
Measure the distance in centimeters, then add 1–1.2cm.
Compare with the size chart
Every product page has one. Between sizes? Go up — in barefoot shoes, too roomy beats too tight every time.
Fit check when they arrive
Wear them indoors for an hour. Your toes should wiggle and splay freely, your heel should stay put without gripping, and nothing should press on the sides. If anything pinches, exchange the size — indoor try-ons are always returnable.
Care guide
Everyday care
Knock off dry dirt with a soft brush. For marks, hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap, then air dry away from direct heat. Never machine wash or tumble dry — heat degrades sole adhesives.
Copper-sole models
The copper contact points are maintenance-free. A dull patina doesn't affect conductivity — a wipe with a damp cloth restores the shine. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Winter models
Rinse off road salt promptly — it dries out any upper. Dry fully at room temperature between wears; stuff with newspaper to speed it up.
Sandals & toe socks
Sandals: hand wash, air dry. TerraToes socks: machine wash cold, air dry — they keep their shape longer out of the dryer. Sock sizes S–XL with EU ranges on each product page; between sizes, size up.
